Each page is built around clusters of information—small groupings of focused content that the eye can pick up in one view. Categories are boxed together, which makes scanning easier for visitors. Buying options are grouped together, which makes up-selling easier for you.

Since trust is such a big issue on the Internet, we’ve built it into Sprout Commerce. Trust logos such as “secure” certificates offer sub-conscious reassurance, and 800 numbers clearly indicate access to customer support. The fact that your company address appears on every page offers another level of assurance that visitors are still in the right place. And credit card logos convey the idea that customers have an additional resource if any problems arise.
Quick & Easy Checkout
Many a sale is lost because of problems a customer perceives during the check-out process. Research shows that when fewer steps are required, a cart performs better, dropout is reduced, and more transactions are completed.
Only 2 screens are required for our check-out process. Shopping cart information, which is displayed on one screen, shows shipping and sales tax (if any) information as soon as the customer adds the product and types in their zip code. When customers are able to see all the cost elements, they can make an educated purchase decision before they put their payment information on the second screen.
Make Your Money Links Pop!
We’ve found that information pages can be turned into money-makers by using color to make links pop out and direct a visitor’s eyes to pick up store categories and products. We’ve also discovered the benefit of using images to direct attention and highlight product categories. A picture truly is worth a thousand words!
