WHO IS PINK HOUSE IMPORTS?

Pink House Imports is a specialty jewelry wholesaler servicing the gift and apparel industry. Owner Lisa Garton opened the company in 2005 marketing primarily through catalogs and trade shows. The company’s first online foray was a rudimentary and static PDF document that allowed customers to see the product lines.

When the company decided to launch a more interactive site, they were provided with a recommendation from a friend for a web designer. The designer met their needs in the short term, building them a more interactive site that allowed them to quickly increase sales.

The previous designer’s cost for updating a single item was close to $25 – ridiculous for an item that only sold (wholesale) between $3 and $9. Merchant Corner, rather than try to sell them services they didn’t need, provided Lisa and her staff with a self managed solution and training so that they could perform the work themselves, arming them with knowledge that allows them to update their large number of SKUs without incurring additional cost.
